Below are stallions from Germany that I know of that have been imported to the U.S. but I am certain that there are many more out there. There are of course lots of fillies and mares in the U.S. but I will only publish pictures of stallions for now. We will add more info and pictures over time.
**Please note that only a couple of those pictures have been taken by professional photographers, nothing has been enhanced, those horses actually look better when you see them in person!
Stranger, aka the Koochie Horse was nominated in the U.S. as "Champion of Champions" in 2004 with the "Gypsy Horse Registry of America" (formerly known as the Cob Society of North America") He is located in Conneticut at Emerald Winds Farm along with "Superstar" (his son) another beautiful stallion imported from Germany.
I remember when Richard and I once spent a week living with Stranger's previous owner and his family while Stranger was still in Germany, I believe it was in 2000. We did have a wonderful time in this beautiful little village, it was lots of fun playing games in the riding hall while riding "Ace", an amazing Dales stallion, or going out on a trail ride with Stranger and his son "Apollo". And of course I won't forget the times when we tied a bunch of those little sleighs together and Stranger pulled us girls through the snow in the forest, thanks again Rainer & Uschi!

Imported by Gypsy MVP
Now living in Tennessee at LexLin Gypsy Ranch

Now standing at stud at West Hill Ranches in New York. The Boss was born in the UK and then purchased and imported to Germany by a former associate of mine who was a well known and respected breeder of top quality Gypsy Horses. Boss produced lots of foals over the years and some were even exported back to the UK from Germany.

Gondor, aka The Face is another perfect gypsy stallion with just the cutest face

Sligo now lives in Oregon. He is the father of 3 gold medal foals and 2 state premium mares in Germany and also sired 5 licensed and proven sons. He is also the grandsire of our broodmare Tamira

Sligo is not only beautiful but he also produces wonderful offspring. Stefan is one of his sons in a rare color.

Bandon is now at Gypsy MVP in Texas. This tri-color stallion (and Tobie, below) makes my heart beat faster. This is how I picture a perfect gypsy stallion. I just love how this one is built.

Talisien is living in Montana and is a Gold Cup Stallion and all of his foals are eligible for the Great Lakes Gypsy Vanner Futurity.

As of June '06, Drambui is now in California and his new owner, Amanda. She is a reproductive specialist who is going to do A.I. with him. I was told they bought a huge horse breeding farm in order for him to have lots of space and to start a successfull breeding and showing career.
Homozygous for the tobiano and black gene, he will also be heavy in bone and feather like his half brother "Talisien" pictured above.

Imported by Gypsy MVP in Texas and is now living in Tennesse at Villa Vanner Gypsy Horses, a beautiful stallion in a very rare and unique color "Buttermilk Buckskin".

Tobie P. "The Athlete", a blagdon horse (blagdon = any color with white splashes) with just a few tiny splashes. I would say he is perfect, or at least very close to being built perfectly. He is the right mix of elegance and power and has the personality of a lamb.
News: As predicted Tobie has also been exported to the states and now lives in Texas at Gypsy MVP. Click here for more pictures of him.
The stallions below are still in Germany and are proven producers of high quality offspring. They are not really for sale (at least not at a bargain) but let me know if you are interested in their offspring.

These stallions are being dressage ridden by children!!! Aniol at an inspection and at a parade behind mares in springtime. He keeps a cool head in just about any situation. Our mare "Balamory" was bred to Aniol for a 2008 baby!

Have you ever seen that much hair on a gypsy horse elsewhere? He's another dream come true!

Probably the heaviest in bone and feather I've seen (imagine his feather cleaned and brushed out) there is only a handful of stallions in the U.S. that I know of with that much feather.

Duke has lots of feather too, but they are a bit dirty in this picture. He also serves as a "voltigier horse," it's a popular sport over there where young kids do gymnastics on his back, something you can see in the U.S. at a circus.

Another one of Sligo's gorgeous son's. These pictures show him only as a 2 year old, he is around 15.3hh tall.
